the "Editors"

Back in 2006 I was on a trip to England as a study abroad class for my college. The class was called something like "Media: The British Experience" and one of the nights we hand to go see this show I think it was called "The Richard & Judy Show" I believe. But after we were leaving that show people working at the studio asked anyone leaving if they'd like to go in and watch another show that was about to tape called "The Friday Night Project" so me and another one of my friends stayed and went to that one as well. It was a really cool show. The music guest that night was none other then the "Editors". I had never heard of them before at this point just seen some of the ads for the in the Underground. After the show ended and I had won £5 (from this part of the show where one of the hosts ran up into the audience with a jacket layered with the quids on it) the next day I went and bought the "Editors" CD at the closest HMV. I'm glad I got to see that show though, because had I not I wouldn't have ever probably heard them, and that's my story.

Darien Lake

So on Sunday Kelly and I went to Turning Stone Casino because I had a coupon to a get a free night's stay. I ended up winning $60 that was pretty cool. Then on Monday we met up with Jon and his girlfriend Ashley and went to Darien Lake. The weather was really crappy but the day was pretty fun, we went on really everything we wanted to, even the water stuff (though it was like 60 degrees out). It turned out to be a pretty cool day we even stopped at a Roy Rogers on the way home, which was delicious. So overall it ended up being a great weekend.

Superbad

Well I just got back from seeing the new comedy Superbad, it was freaking awesome. The movie comedy was nonstop, the movie is possibly the best written comedy I've ever watched. It has so many quotable lines, it's definately a must-watch for everyone. I just can't give this movie enough praise. You feel for the two main characters in it, you want them to achieve everything they've set out for which is to get liquor and bring it to a party, where hopefully they may be able to get with the girls that they each like. It's late I'll write later, catch ya.


I loved this movie so much I want to go see it again, and I recommend you all go see it as well.

Patrick

I just thought it'd be a cool idea to write a little bit about my son Patrick. Right now he's about 21 months old, he's a really smart little guy he catches on to things very fast, it's almost frightening. He's saying more and more words all the time. He can be a little handful at times, especially when he doesn't listen. I love the little guy so much and I'd do anything for him, I'll write more later, just thought write a few thoughts down right now though.

Denied

So I went to go donate blood, and I wasn't able to because they didn't feel I should. The reasoning being that my stomach was hurting me which I knew was mostly my nerves, but apparently I was also a little pale and they didn't want me getting sick while I was donating. So I got a t-shirt for trying, I feel really bad that I couldn't give any blood, but I'm gonna try again this fall, so there's my attempt to donate blood.

Just Started

Hey all,
I just figured I start this, it'll probably be like a half journal half views on whatever, and half news about new movies I'm working on either for college or for myself. Yeah I know that's 3 halves, whatever. But yeah anyways I was thinking of giving blood today, but I have a huge fear of needles. But I think I'm going to do it because I mean it is gonna help someone out someday. So I'll write back later about that experience. I'll write more later, but for right now I'm gonna go play with my son Patrick.
